Jeff Mettais

CarbonSync is a forward-thinking company developing commercial opportunities for products and technologies in the renewable energy and water sectors. The Company is creating long-term partnerships to deliver these advanced solutions where the impact can be greatest. In addition to its own renewable energy projects in South America and the Caribbean, CarbonSync provides market development expertise to entrepreneurial companies seeking new revenue from the Americas, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia.
Over the past 25 years Jeff has led projects and market development initiatives in the U.S. and several foreign countries, with a total of 15 years spent abroad. Jeff has a proven track record of successfully moving innovative ideas and technologies into the marketplace. While Executive VP of The Baby Einstein Company, he directed a domestic distribution network and international licensing program that increased sales from $1 million to $25 million in less than three years, up through sale its sale to The Walt Disney Company.
During his 12 years in Japan, Jeff co-founded and led Comtec Co. Ltd., a specialty media publisher and distribution company acquired by Disney Japan. He also served as Director of International Development for EFG, a Japanese non-profit foundation with operations in Japan, the U.S., New Zealand and Australia. Jeff holds a B.A. in Economics (cum laude) from St. Lawrence University.
He is fluent in Japanese, with a working knowledge of Spanish.
